I forget the name of the second station I went to but it had to do with lists and finding out people's perceptions on certain things by making them list things. I think you should look into this method because you might be able to find out different perceptions of how people view their yards and agriculture in general. It also is designed to find out what questions you would still need to ask to find out more or give you new ideas of aspects to study.
